Position Purpose

The Church Relations Representative serves as a liaison between donors, churches, partners, and World Help to secure funds for the organization by fulfilling the interests and passions of World Help's supporting churches/donors, providing them with giving opportunities, encouraging them to give. This objective is achieved through strategic planning, consistent collaboration with internal departments and external donors/churches, executing action plans that better communicate and market to donors, and traveling along with donor/church groups to better cultivate relationships. Together, these responsibilities allow the Church Relations Representative to ensure that World Help is retaining as many churches/donors as possible and are upgrading in their giving and involvement.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Create strategic action plan for each church/donor that will serve as a benchmark regarding the communication and marketing objectives for each church/donor listed on the caseload.
• Implement and execute said action plan to retain and upgrade new/current churches and donors on the caseload.
• Travel internationally with small and large church groups that are working alongside current or prospective partners to cultivate long-term relationships and discover how World Help can be of further assistance.
• Work with International Partnerships and Marketing departments to secure relevant project information including budgets, offers, and proposals to be used with donors featured on the caseload in order to secure gifts and report back on how donor giving is making a difference.
• Create monthly reports that accurately reflect caseload activity and performance.
• Create and administer in-country itineraries for groups.
• Work with regional liaisons regarding any specific needs an international partner would request.
• Effectively communicate with Travel team on trip preparation and travel details.
• Continuously seek to acquire new sponsors and encourage pastors/team members to assist in the search.
• Any additional duties needed to drive World Help's mission, vision, and organizational values.

Your Time

50% - Caseload Management

• Manage & update a caseload of churches/donors. Create strategic action plans to enhance church/donor communication and marketing.

50% - International Travel

• Collaborate with churches and provide them with opportunities to travel to and work alongside nationals to make an impact in their communities.

Required Skills/Education

• Bachelor's Degree in any related field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Clear/effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Extensive familiarity with fundraising.

Preferred Skills/Education

• Proven experience working with churches or faith-based organizations, particularly in outreach, development, or ministry roles.
• Some proficiency in Spanish.

Miscellaneous

• Requires sitting for long periods of time.
• Requires travel to visit churches/donors.
