Job Summary: Anderson Automotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Counter-person to join our team in Cockeysville, Maryland. As the Automotive Parts Counter-person, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients by assisting them with their automotive parts needs. This is a full-time position that offers a base salary plus commission and the opportunity to work with a reputable dealership. Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive base salary of $37,500 to $60,000 per year, based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, either in person or on the phone
• Assist customers in identifying and locating the correct parts for their vehicles
• Use electronic cataloging and ordering systems to accurately locate and order parts
• Keep track of inventory levels and order new parts as needed
• Communicate with technicians and service advisors to ensure timely delivery of parts for repairs and services
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business
• Continuously update knowledge of automotive parts and industry trends
• Maintain a clean and organized parts department
• Follow all safety and security procedures in the parts department
• Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in an automotive parts department & or related field preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use electronic cataloging and ordering systems
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office & Tekion preferred
• Familiarity with various automotive makes and models
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
